Data Strategy and Design

My journey began with a deep-rooted passion for education, sparked by growing up in a family of educators. From a young age, I helped my mom with everything from tech support to proofreading (as English was our second language). I admired my mom and grandparents for the impact they made as educators, but I also saw how challenging their work was, including when the tools and technologies meant to help often made their jobs harder.

By the time I finished school, I knew I wanted to help improve education for both teachers and students. I pursued Political Science with a focus on Education Policy, taught English as a foreign language, and later earned an MS.Ed in Education Policy. That’s where I discovered my fascination with education data and technology. I was amazed at how well-designed data tools, centered around users, could make a meaningful impact. From then on, I was driven to bring that clarity and creativity to my work with data. And the rest is history!
